

The AFC U23 Asian Cup is a biennial international competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), featuring men’s under-23 national teams from across Asia. For the upcoming seventh edition, a total of 15 qualification spots are available.
Saudi Arabia has already secured its place in the tournament as the host nation. The remaining 15 spots will be contested by 44 teams, divided into 11 groups of four teams each, in the qualifiers.
Each group will compete in a single round-robin format at a centralized venue. At the conclusion of the qualifiers, the 11 group winners and the four best second-placed teams will earn their places in the continental tournament set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
The AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers are scheduled from September 1 to 11, 2025. The official draw ceremony was held today at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
