Bhutan Football Federation Conducts Successful Women’s Club Licensing Workshop

The Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) successfully conducted a Women’s Club Licensing Workshop on October 15, 2023, at Hotel Ariya. This workshop, held under the FIFA Club Licensing Program, saw active participation from 19 representatives of clubs from eight districts, marking a significant step forward in advancing women’s football in Bhutan.

The session was led by the BFF’s club licensing manager, who presented Bhutan’s strategic roadmap for football development to the attending participants. The workshop also saw the launch of an individual club statute, underscoring the federation’s commitment to establishing structured and transparent operations within Bhutan’s football community.

Through this one-day workshop, the participants received valuable insights into the club licensing framework, gaining an in-depth understanding of its importance and application. The workshop provided a collaborative platform for the clubs to engage with the BFF and each other, fostering a shared vision for strengthening and enhancing Bhutan’s leagues.
