The 32nd match of the ongoing BoB Bhutan Premier League 2023 took place at Changlimithang National Stadium, featuring a clash between Namlha FC and Ugyen Academy FC. Both teams wasted no time in making their presence felt, as they each attempted to score within the first 3 minutes of the match. However, the first significant event of the game occurred in the form of a caution. Ugyen Academy’s jersey No. 6, Tandin Dorji, received a yellow card for a reckless challenge. Remarkably, just 7 minutes later, their captain, Jigme Phuntsho, was handed his second yellow card of the match for a similar infraction. In the 20th minute, Ugyen Academy FC managed to break the deadlock when jersey No. 4, Dilip Gurung, executed a precise header, beautifully assisted by their captain, Jigme Phuntsho, who delivered a perfect freekick. Druk Lhayul FC Suffers Their Heaviest Defeat At Woochu Sports Arena

In the 30th match of the ongiong BoB Bhutan Premier League, 2023 between Paro FC and Druk Lhayul FC, Paro FC emerged victorious with a resounding 7-1 scoreline. The game saw a flurry of goals from the home team,  “Paro FC” dominating the proceedings. Kinga Wangchuk opened the scoring for Paro FC in the 11th minute, followed by Kazuo Homma finding the net in the 18th minute. In the 21st match of the 2023 BoB Bhutan Premier League, Namlha FC hosted Druk Lhayul FC in their inaugural encounter in any competition. During the pre-match press conference, the head coach of Namlha FC mentioned that most of his players were unavailable, leaving only 16 players for the match. Conversely, Kinley, a player from Druk Lhayul FC, asserted that they held great respect for Namlha FC and had undergone rigorous training for the game. Namlha FC initiated the match with a 7th-minute goal from a penalty, taken by John Payin Sarsha, after Sonam Jordan, a winger from Druk Lhayul FC, used his hand to clear the ball from the goal line. Sonam was subsequently issued a direct red card, reducing Druk Lhayul FC to ten players. However, in the 18th minute, despite being a player down, Druk Lhayul FC managed to level the score due to an own goal by Kinley Sithup. Ekom’s powerful shot from the right was deflected into the net by Kinley Sithup’s chest, inadvertently getting past the goalkeeper. Druk Lhayul FC gained the lead in the 42nd minute with a penalty taken by Niang Aung Kyaw. The penalty was awarded after Sangay Wangchuk was fouled inside the penalty area. Aung confidently positioned himself over the penalty spot, executing it calmly with precision, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
