Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Workshop
The first ever Bhutan Football Federation sports medicine and rehabilitation workshop, under FIFA club licensing, was held at Hotel Ariya on 7th June, 2023. The benefactors of the workshop, Dr. Sonam, the head of the Medical Department of the Bhutan Football Federation, and Dr. Neten Wangchuck, clinical nurse of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital, stressed hamstring injuries, ACL injuries, cardiac arrest, groin injuries, ankle injuries, and sports taping related to sports.
A total of 7 physiotherapists from various clubs and 2 from BFF Academy attended the workshop.
