The encounter on 23 July 2026 saw all four goals arrive in an entertaining first half, as Paro FC produced a clinical attacking display before managing the game effectively in the second period.

Led by Head Coach Puspalal Sharma, Paro FC started strongly and took control of the match from the early stages. Their pressure was rewarded in the 22nd minute when Tshultrim Namgyel broke the deadlock to give the visitors the lead.

Paro FC continued to dominate proceedings and doubled their advantage in the 32nd minute through Phurpa Wangchuk, who found the back of the net with a composed finish following another dangerous attacking move.
