BFF Academy delivered a commanding performance to defeat Tsirang FC in a thrilling encounter filled with goals, intensity, and attacking quality, as they maintained their perfect start to the season.

The match began with immediate intent from BFF Academy, who broke the deadlock early through Sonam Dorji in the 9th minute. His sharp finish set the tone for a dominant opening phase, giving his side a deserved 1–0 lead and putting Tsirang FC under early pressure.

Tsirang FC tried to settle into the game, but BFF Academy continued to control possession and create chances. The breakthrough came again just after the restart of the second half, when Thinley Yezer unleashed a powerful strike following a well-delivered assist from Rinzin Dorji. The shot left the goalkeeper with no chance, doubling the advantage to 2–0 in the 50th minute.

However, Tsirang FC refused to back down. A brilliant solo run from Afeez, beating two defenders before setting up Michael for a simple finish, brought the visitors back into the contest at 2–1 and reignited hopes of a comeback in the 62nd minute.

Those hopes were short-lived as BFF Academy responded in style just 2 minutes later. Skipper Rinzin Dorji restored the two-goal cushion with a composed left-footed finish after a clever one-touch assist from Thinley Yezer, showcasing excellent attacking coordination and leadership in the final third.
Barely minutes later, Rinzin Dorji struck again to complete his brace. Latching onto a perfectly timed counterattack, set up by Kuenzang Dupthob Wangchuk, the captain calmly slotted home with his right foot to make it 4–1 and effectively seal the game.
Tsirang FC continued to fight and were rewarded late on when Stephen found the net after a clever assist from Bijay Samal, who produced a brilliant header to set up the goal. Despite the late push, it only reduced the deficit to 4–2.
