RTC FC Complete Stunning Comeback to Hold Tsirang FC
RTC FC produced a remarkable second-half comeback in the final match of round one for both the teams to earn a point against Tsirang FC in a thrilling six-goal encounter on the final matchweek of the first round of the BoB Bhutan Premier League 2026.

The match got off to a sensational start as Tsirang FC found the breakthrough just 30 seconds after kickoff. The home side capitalised on their fast start and stunned RTC FC with the earliest goal of the match, setting the tone for an entertaining contest.

Tsirang FC continued their strong start and doubled their advantage through returning forward Tsenda Dorji, who marked his first start of the season in style. The debutant produced a moment of individual brilliance, curling a superb left-footed effort into the far corner, similar to the stunning opener from Tampi Ernest, to make it 2–0.

RTC FC refused to surrender and pulled one back through Jigdrel, who delivered a spectacular strike from outside the box. The midfielder unleashed a powerful effort into the far top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance and bringing the visitors back into the game.

However, Tsirang FC restored their two-goal advantage before the break through their leading scorer Stephen Stallin. The forward produced another moment of quality, firing a long-range strike from around 20 yards that beat a fully stretched Dendup Namgyel to give the home side a 3–1 lead at halftime.

After the restart, RTC FC came out with renewed determination and continued to push forward. Their persistence paid off once again through Jigdrel, who found the net for the second time of the evening with another stunning strike from distance to reduce the deficit to 3–2.

The visitors completed an incredible comeback moments later through substitute Nima, who made an immediate impact after coming off the bench. RTC FC launched a quick counterattack, and Nima used his pace to break between the Tsirang FC defenders before calmly finishing into the back of the net to level the score.

Despite late efforts from both sides, neither team could find a decisive winner as the points were shared at Tsirang Artificial Turf with a late goal disallowed for the visitors. With this match RTC FC sits at top 4 of the BoB Bhutan Premeir League points table while tsirang FC are in 6th position
