Tigers Roar to Dominant Victory Over Tensung FC
Paro FC produced a commanding performance at Changlimithang Stadium, securing a convincing victory over Tensung FC in the BoB Bhutan Premier League 2026.
The Tigers wasted no time asserting their dominance, finding the breakthrough inside the opening six minutes of the match. Mohib Ullah rose highest to power a header into the back of the net from Yuta’s pinpoint corner delivery, giving Paro FC an early advantage from their second corner of the game.
Paro FC continued to pile on the pressure, controlling possession and creating constant threats in the attacking third. Their relentless attacking approach was rewarded again in the 25th minute when they were awarded a penalty.
Richard was brought down inside the box after being caught on the shin by Sangay Lethro, leaving the referee with no hesitation in pointing to the spot. The forward stepped up and calmly converted from 12 yards, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to double the Tigers’ lead.
Heading into the break, Paro FC remained firmly in control with a dominant first-half display, while Tensung FC struggled to contain the Tigers’ attacking intensity.
The second half continued in the same fashion, with Paro FC maintaining pressure and searching for more goals. Their third arrived after a defensive error from Tensung FC. A misplaced pass from substitute Karma Phuntsho fell into the path of Abdoulie Baldeh, who made no mistake, firing a powerful left-footed strike into the net.
The Tigers were not done yet. Substitute Denish made an immediate impact on his season debut, providing a sublime assist after coming off the bench. Yuta completed the move with a composed finish to add a fourth goal for Paro FC.
