Paro FC Cruise Past Tsirang FC
Paro FC produced a composed and clinical display to defeat Tsirang FC 2–0 in Matchweek 7 of the BoB Bhutan Premier League, overcoming thick fog and challenging visibility to secure all three points on the road.

The visitors controlled large spells of the contest from the opening whistle, enjoying more possession and looking the more threatening side despite the difficult playing conditions. Tsirang FC remained disciplined defensively in the opening exchanges but found it difficult to create clear-cut opportunities against a well-organised Paro backline.

Paro FC created several promising opportunities in the first half, but Tsirang FC goalkeeper Antonio Dylan Inacio Da Silva kept his side in the contest with two outstanding saves. He first reacted brilliantly to tip Yuta’s powerful volley over the crossbar after the forward connected sweetly with Nima Wangdi’s inviting cross. Moments later, he produced another spectacular stop, diving to deny Kinzang Tshering’s powerful header that looked destined for the back of the net.

The breakthrough finally arrived in the 30th minute. Richard delivered a perfectly weighted pass that split the defence, allowing Abdoulie Baldeh to time his run to perfection and beat the offside trap. Racing through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, Baldeh kept his composure and calmly slotted a left-footed finish into the bottom corner to hand Paro FC a deserved lead.
Paro carried that slender advantage into the break after a disciplined first-half performance, limiting Tsirang FC’s attacking threat while continuing to dictate the tempo of the match.
The visitors doubled their lead early in the second half through an unfortunate own goal. Abdoulie Baldeh once again proved influential, whipping in a dangerous cross from the left flank that forced panic inside the penalty area. Under pressure, the Tsirang FC skipper attempted to clear the delivery but inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net, giving Paro FC a two-goal cushion.

Tsirang FC searched for a way back into the match, but Paro FC remained compact and controlled possession intelligently to protect their advantage. The home side’s task became even more difficult in the 84th minute when Kinzang Tshering was shown a straight red card, reducing Tsirang FC to ten men for the closing stages.
Paro FC comfortably saw out the remainder of the match to secure a well-deserved 2–0 victory, collecting another valuable three points and a clean sheet. The result strengthens their impressive league campaign, while Tsirang FC will look to regroup and respond in their next fixture.

Now paro FC has retained their status as the league leader in match week 7.
