Kinley Dorji Gains Valuable International Experience Through AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme 2026
The Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) congratulates Kinley Dorji, Head of the Competition Department, on successfully completing the AFC Member Association Knowledge Sharing Programme (KSP) 2026 at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The programme, held in September 2026, provided Kinley with a valuable opportunity to enhance his professional knowledge and gain firsthand experience in football administration, competition management, governance and development at the continental level.
During the programme, Kinley engaged with various AFC departments, gaining practical insights into their operational systems, administrative processes and coordination mechanisms. He also developed a broader understanding of how AFC collaborates with its five Regional Associations and 47 Member Associations to support football development across Asia.

Reflecting on his experience, Kinley shared the following statement for approval:
“The AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme has been a valuable learning experience for me. It provided an opportunity to understand how football is managed and developed at the continental level and to learn from the experience and best practices of AFC. I am grateful to AFC for this opportunity, and I look forward to sharing the knowledge gained with my colleagues and applying relevant practices to strengthen competition management and football development in Bhutan.”
The experience is expected to contribute to strengthening BFF’s competition operations, particularly in tournament planning, event management, stakeholder coordination and administrative practices.
The Bhutan Football Federation extends its sincere appreciation to the Asian Football Confederation for providing this valuable opportunity and for its continued commitment to building the capacity of football administrators across its Member Associations.
BFF looks forward to Kinley sharing his knowledge and experiences with colleagues and contributing to the continued growth and professionalisation of football in Bhutan.
Congratulations, Kinley Dorji, on completing this important professional development programme!
