Foundation programs for female referees are conducted because interested females don’t have basic knowledge regarding the Laws of the game.
The main objective of this plan is to have a proper system and put in place whereby the female referees could be developed every year as per their age so that there is continuous flow of female youth referees and also to create fair opportunities to all the female referees in the country. And the other objective is to plan for forming well-trained female referees for the FIFA /AFC competition in the near future.
In order to retain the female referees, opportunities should be provided to them.
