Tensung FC Seal Redemption in a Dramatic Encounter Against Ugyen Academy FC
Tensung FC secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Ugyen Academy FC in a dramatic encounter, claiming all three points and earning redemption after their previous defeat to the same opponents.

The match began with Ugyen Academy FC taking the initiative. Santa opened the scoring with a superb volley, giving the home side an early 1-0 advantage and setting the tone for an entertaining contest.

Tensung FC responded strongly, with Sonam Phuntsho proving decisive in attack. Deployed in the centre-forward position, Sonam first found the equaliser with a powerful driving header before completing his brace with a close-range volley. His two goals turned the game around and sent Tensung FC into the lead.

The visitors then extended their advantage after Ngawang Tobgay produced a memorable moment. Returning to the scoresheet after three seasons following a knee injury sustained during the qualifiers, Tobgay kept his composure to finish calmly and make it 3-1.

Ugyen Academy FC refused to surrender. Santa completed his brace to bring the hosts back within one goal, capitalising on a rebound after the home side had already struck the woodwork twice.
The home side were handed a golden opportunity to level the score in the second half when Santa stepped up from the penalty spot. However, the Ugyen Academy FC forward was unable to convert, missing the chance to complete his hat-trick and bring his side back on level terms.

Despite the missed penalty and continued pressure from Ugyen Academy FC, Tensung FC held firm to protect their advantage and secure a dramatic 3-2 victory.

The result gives Tensung FC three valuable points and, perhaps more importantly, redemption after their previous setback against Ugyen Academy FC.
