BFF Academy Fight Back Late to Rescue a Point
BFF Academy and Tensung FC shared the spoils in an intense Match Day encounter that ended 1–1, with both sides delivering a high-tempo and emotional contest filled with key moments, discipline issues, and late drama.

Tensung FC drew first blood early in the 10th minute through Kinley Tshering, who capitalised on a sharp attacking move to give the visitors a crucial lead. Despite BFF Academy’s growing control of possession, Tensung held firm for long spells, showing discipline and structure at the back.

The match saw tensions rise in the first half as Sonam Dorji went into the referee’s book in the 41st minute, reflecting the increasing physicality of the contest. Both sides battled fiercely in midfield, with momentum swinging back and forth.
After the break, Tensung FC made several tactical adjustments, introducing fresh legs, including Ngawang Tobgay, Choki Wangchuk, and Ugyen Wangchuk, to inject energy into their attack. BFF Academy also rotated their squad, with a key change bringing in Kuenzang Gyeltshen for Dendup Gyeltshen being involved in the tactical reshuffle.

As the game approached its closing stages, BFF Academy’s persistence finally paid off. In the 75th minute, a well-delivered cross from Tandin Phuntsho found skipper Rinzin Dorji, who calmly slotted home the equalizer to ignite the home crowd.
