Fourth Edition of BHSSC Kicks Off with Goals and Glory at Changlimithang Stadium
THIMPHU, January 22, 2026 – The highly anticipated National Championship of the Pepsi Bhutan Higher Secondary School Championship (BHSSC) officially commenced today at the historic Changlimithang Stadium. The opening ceremony, which celebrated youth sports and national talent, was graced by Mrs. Sangye Choden, Director of the Department of Education Programmes, Ministry of Education and Skills Development.
The tournament brings together the best regional qualifiers to compete for the national title on the country’s grandest stage. With four high-stakes matches scheduled daily, two for the girls’ teams and two for the boys’, the opening day set a high bar for the rest of the competition.
