Referee Development Course (RDC) was successfully conducted in Bumthang from 22–24 December 2025, bringing together 30 participants from Mongar, Trashigang, Bumthang, Wangdue, and Thimphu, including 7 female referees.
The course was led by Choki Om, with support from Phurpa Wangchuk, and focused on strengthening both the theoretical knowledge and practical officiating skills of referees. Key areas included Laws of the Game interpretation, decision-making, match control, communication, and referee ethics.
Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and group discussions, participants gained greater confidence, consistency, and match management skills, contributing to the continued development of refereeing standards in Bhutan.
