Bhutan Football Federation to Host The First Ever Sports Commentary Workshop

The Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) is excited to announce a Sports Commentary Workshop aimed at fostering talent and building capacity in sports broadcasting. Scheduled from 3rd to 5th October 2024, the three-day workshop will take place at Hotel Ariya in Thimphu.

The workshop is designed for individuals passionate about sports and interested in pursuing careers in sports commentary, particularly in football and other sports. It will cover the following key areas:

Objectives:

• Develop core commentary skills
• Understand voice modulation, storytelling, and technical equipment
• Learn how to prepare for matches
• Practice real-world commentary through simulations and feedback sessions

Leading the workshop will be Rhysh Roshan Rai, a presenter, commentator, and pundit with over 12 years of experience in sports broadcasting. He has commented on many leagues around the globe, including the English Premier League. Rhysh Roshan Rai will share insights from his professional experiences and guide participants on becoming proficient sports commentators.

This initiative is part of the BFF’s commitment to developing various aspects of football in Bhutan, not just on the field, but also through media and broadcasting. By enhancing the quality of sports commentary, the BFF aims to provide fans with a richer and more engaging football viewing experience.
