DESCRIPTION:Nepal will host the SAFF Women’s Championship from August 29 – September 10\, 2022 after South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) endorsed Nepal’s proposal to hold the regional football competition in Kathmandu. \nNepali delegation led by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) General Secretary Kiran Rai had proposed the date to hold the competition in Kathmandu. The delegation had also met SAFF General Secretary Anwarul Haq Helal in Dhaka on Friday. \nThe proposal was endorsed by the SAFF Executive Committee meeting prior to the SAFF Ordinary Congress 2022. The SAFF Ordinary Congress 2022 was also held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka.
